MIDWEST BIO-SYSTEMS, Inc.

Company Overview

Updated: 3/3/2008

Midwest Bio-Systems' niche in the composting industry is that of high quality in the finished compost product. MBS' Advanced Composting System compost typically sells for $20-40 more per ton than area competitors and has shown additional value of $40-80 more per ton in crop performance when compared to other composts. MBS' Aeromaster compost turning equipment is designed to complement the ACS system.

MBS consults at more than 100 compost sites and offers numerous consulting packages. Midwest Bio approaches composting from a "soil and plant need" perspective as opposed to a waste reduction point-of-view. MBS also offers biological fertilizers and consulting expertise in improving soil fertility in a renewable and sustainable way.

MBS offers periodic 1 and 2 day compost workshops which have trained more than 600 composters in high quality composting and its relationship to soil fertility.
