CH2M HILL is pleased to announce the roll out of the CH2M HILL on-line procurement-sourcing platform. The procurement platform program is designed by Environmental Network International, Inc. (ENI) (http://www.eni-net.com) and is extranet based. The program will connect CH2M HILL's Procurement Professionals and Project Managers with the sellers of environmental services, supplies, and equipment. ENI is located in Raleigh, North Carolina.

ENI has prepared a customized on-line procurement platform for CH2M HILL use in accordance with our procurement requirements. This ENI/CH2M HILL platform will be accessed and utilized by both CH2M HILL Procurement Professionals and Project Managers through our secured Intranet. The ENI platform is a procurement resource tool to locate and access qualified vendors that meet Client and CH2M HILL requirements on commercial, federal and overhead projects. CH2M HILL Procurement Professionals and Project Managers can use ENI's on-line system to identify qualified vendors for the project and then e-mail the vendor the Request for Proposal (RFP), thus eliminating many telephone calls, mailing, and faxing of the RFPs.

CH2M HILL does not require vendors to list with ENI; however, by not listing with ENI vendors may miss possible opportunities that can be procured via the on-line platform, along with those from other environmental contractors who also utilize ENI. There is a cost ($30.00 per month for the base monthly fee) to be listed in the ENI system/database. However, CH2M HILL believes that vendors may directly offset this cost by reduced marketing costs and other costs associated with documentation/vendor profile updates.

As an incentive to list with ENI, CH2M HILL has negotiated with ENI to waive the $150.00 setup fee and provide ENI’s basic $30/month listing service at no charge through 12-31-99. To list, log onto ENI-Net and go to ’join ENI’ under Vendor Services.
